About Me

Hello Families,

My name's Nicole Melanson. I'm a mother of four who has a passion for working with children. I have spent many years being a nanny and have been running my daycare since the birth of my first child in January 2005.

I believe in children learning through play and strive to make my home an extension of your own, where the children in my care feel safe, respected, and can be themselves.

I have a clean criminal record, FoodSafe, and First Aid.

Children in my care are exposed to outside and creative play, music, arts and crafts, baking, outings to the many parks this wonderful area has to offer, and so much more.

We have a fully fenced front and backyard that we play in daily, with many toys for various age ranges.

On really rainy days, I may allow a movie or educational children's program to help break up the day, but I strongly believe in keeping television viewing to a minimum.

At Nickies Daycare, I offer affordable rates because I know firsthand how difficult it can be to find secure childcare without going broke yourself.
